Therapy... round two

So Dilly-dally had therapy on Wednesday. Daddy took her because I had nonviolent crisis prevention training at work. She is also going to be setting us up for family therapy... something which is badly needed.

The good news is that it was her turn to fix dinner last night- and she wanted seafood Alfredo and cherry pie. It was delicious. And, positive one-on-one time with daddy- something she desperately craves. Not that everything yesterday was a win. She had a birthday party yesterday she almost lost due to her behavior, but she "cleaned" up her act- when she had to earn it back... mommy pick up the house. That is supposed to be a given every week, but that's easier said than done. She did a great job this week though. Major victory?

Another victory this morning- she took a bath on her own!!! (cheering noises in background) I'm so proud of her ;-)

Tomorrow is another meeting with school- trying behavior modification with her school work. Positive reinforcement if she does it on time, consequences if not. I like it. She is more than capable. Very smart- that one. Almost too smart.

one day at a time... one foot in front of the other. Eventually... things will start turning around.
