We are always struggling in the morning with routines. It. Is. Insane. I used to be a huge follower of Fly Lady- not that I don't find her still very relevant, just was difficult to keep up with her routines with our busy schedule (Yes, I realize her routines are supposed to help SAVE time...but, well, maybe it's simply laziness on my part, I dunno.) But, I'm still a big believer in her system, even if I don't always follow what she says everyday.
Enter in this suggested post from my husband's cousin, who's son is also ADHD, to the point of having made use of a day treatment program. I LOVE these "rules"/system.
Create a game out of the morning routine.

Similar to a board game, print out a list of needed tasks in order they need to be completed. Laminate them in a plastic pouch. Then, the child uses a large paper clip to slide down the sheet as they complete each task. If she completes the task prior to a certain time, she gets to be rewarded somehow (if this is done for each child, tv/computer time will be difficult to control since they will all be wanting on- more fights will ensue).
This is such a great idea, I'm going to also make one for everyone in the house (including myself) and make ones for night time routines as well! This is so insanely stupidly simple I'm not sure why I didn't think of it!

Will update after therapy hopefully. *cross fingers*
